Tiberius (Tibbi) is our resident Educational Ambassador Animal (in Training) and his role is to help raise awareness of the conservation issues that wolves in the wild face, as well as to educate the public as to the behaviors and natural instincts of wolves.
One of the biggest issues we feel so strongly about is accessibility. As much as we wish everyone could visit Yellowstone (or any other wild area) to observe wolves in their natural habitat, the reality is that many people don’t have that option. Wolves aren’t a big help in that endeavor because they are so aloof and wary by nature, so even when people do get the option to visit their natural habitat it is rare to actually observe these animals in the wild.
Tuesday’s with Tibbi is a free, online, and interactive live video feed hosted by Big Bad Wolves on Facebook Live and open to everyone. Every week people have the chance to see Tibbi and his handler live, ask questions, or just watch the behind-the-scenes happenings during a play/training session.
We know that Tibbi isn’t a wild wolf but it is our sincere hope that you will join us and catch a glimpse of his natural behavior so you can see there is no such thing as a big bad wolf!
We invite everyone to join in every Tuesday at 11 am EST for this live event on the Big Bad Wolves’ Facebook page.
